Hi and thanks for visiting my web home. If you are here, you have most likely picked up one of my books or saw my name somewhere and became curious. I thought I would use this space to tell you a little bit more about me than you see on the "official" bio at the back of my books. Before you read further, I will warn you. I like sex. I write about it, I read about it, and I have it. In fact, I think that sex should be celebrated rather than condemned as it often is. In addition to this, I believe people have a right to live as they see fit, believe what they choose, do what they want, as long as they hurt no other. If either of these beliefs is an issue for you, then perhaps you should find a more appropriate author. I make no apologies for what I write. As my bio with my publishers says, I have wanted to write for as long as I can remember. But like so many people, real life got in the way and those dreams got pushed to the back burner. Now, thanks to some great, encouraging friends and the most wonderful husband, my dream has become a reality. I am a published author. My home life is pretty much like everyone else's. I have a job that I go to, as well as a husband that I spend much of my free time with. We have a house that we take care of, and my own stash of books that no one is allowed to touch. I do not talk to fairies, or make love with vampires, or run with the wolves. At least not at my day job. In my writing I can do whatever I want, with whomever I want. I can make the bad people suffer and the good people win. I can create a world where extraordinary things can happen to ordinary people. Where the girl next door can get the second chance she's always wanted, and where the guy across the street can get that happily-ever-after he deserves. As a race, we need to believe in those things. In happily-ever-afters, in second chances, in something more than we are as individuals. Life is about living and experiencing and dreaming and believing.
Because if you can't believe, what's left? |
